Dr. Myra G. Borines is a Professional Chemical Engineer and a Professor 5 of the Chemical Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology Engineering, University of the Philippines Los Baños.  She is the Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology, UPLB. Her research interests include biofuel production from biomass and by-products and waste utilization.

Research Interests: biofuel production, alternative energy,  by-products and waste utilization, sugar technology
