For part B of our 2nd webinar, our resource speaker is Dr. Jhalique Jane Fojas who will be talking about “Chemical Engineering in Translational Medicine”.

Dr. Fojas is a multidisciplinary scientist, inclined in applied mathematics, chemical and biomedical engineering, biophysics, and medical sciences.  She is a UP Alumna who earned several master’s and doctoral degrees, with education and training from Harvard-MIT, Oxford, and Cambridge universities.  Currently, she is a Global Health Delivery scholar at the Harvard Medical School, an AAUW Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Schlumberger Fellow Alumna at Cambridge University.

For DChE Webinar 3, our resource speakers are researchers abroad advancing their chemical engineering specialization in broader disciplines.

Sharing their perspectives on “Simulations-Based Research Tools in Chemical Engineering”, we’ll learn about their research experiences abroad and how their studies and methods can be integrated as additional tools for conducting research in the country.
