The ASEAN University Network (AUN) is established as the ASEAN quality assurance network in higher education with the responsibility to promote quality assurance in higher education institutions, raise the quality of higher education, and collaborate with both regional and international bodies for the benefit of the ASEAN community.
Since the inception of the AUN-QA assessment at the program level in 2007, more than 160 study programs have been assessed by the AUN-QA network. The UPLB BS Chemical Engineering (BSChE) Program underwent the AUN QA program online assessment last October 26-30, 2020.
With the cooperation of all the stakeholders (university/college administrators, faculty, students, alumni, and employers) the UPLB BS Chemical Engineering Program achieved its ASEAN University Network (AUN) certification. This means that the UPLB Chemical Engineering program will be maintaining and improving its quality and standards of teaching, student learning experience, research, in service to the community.
