Municipal Solid Wastes (MSW) Biochar Study from DChE Wins 3rd Runner Up in the 2019 RSCE

The Regional Symposium on Chemical Engineering (RSCE) is a venue for practitioners, both in the fields of research and industry, to discuss new technologies and trends with the aim of sustainable development. This year, the 26th Regional Symposium on Chemical Engineering (RSCE 2019) was held on October 30-31, 2019, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The two-day event organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya was supported by various local and international organizations. Armed with the theme “Role of Chemical Engineering in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0”, the symposium featured 202 oral presentations and 37 poster presentations in the field of Chemical Engineering. The symposium was kicked off with plenary sessions with topics ranging from the palm oil industry, nanostructured materials, membranes, and flow modeling.
